Does the customer need to install anything?
No. Customers interact through their existing WhatsApp — the app they already have on their phone. There is nothing to download or sign up for.
How does the bot know which time slots are free?
The bot reads your Google Calendar in real time using the Freebusy API. You manage your working hours and blocked periods directly in Google Calendar — block a day as "Closed" and the bot will not offer any slots on that day. No JSON files to edit, ever.
What happens if I need to block a day for an emergency?
Simply add an all-day event in Google Calendar (e.g., "Closed — Emergency"). The bot checks availability live, so no customers will be able to book that day from that moment on. No technical steps required on your end.
Can a customer cancel someone else's appointment?
No. Cancellation is tied to the customer's own phone number. A customer can only cancel appointments that were booked from their number. This prevents any accidental or malicious cancellations of other people's bookings.
What language does the bot speak?
The bot language is configured per practice. Currently supported out of the box: Croatian and English. Additional languages can be added on request.
Where is customer data stored?
All data is stored on a dedicated server hosted in Germany (EU), covered by GDPR. Customer messages and booking records are kept in a local database — they are never sent to any third-party AI or analytics service.
How long does setup take?
For a standard single-practice setup: typically one business day. This includes connecting your Google Calendar, configuring your WhatsApp number, customising the FAQ responses for your practice, and testing the full booking flow before going live.
